A good highlighter, used well, is a quick way to enhance your complexion and give your skin a radiant and healthy glow.
The first step is selecting the right highlighter for your skin tone.
Our finely milled, highly pigmented i-glow–highlights are hand swirled so that each is unique.
Sirocco is a long standing favourite amongst beauty bloggers and makeup artists. Its warm golden glow creates a candle lit highlight, perfect for warmer or olive based skin tones.
Aurora, our newest highlighter, is a mix of cool silver notes with the warmer golden apricot and bronze tones from Sirocco, finished with a mint green for a gentle colour correction. Silver tones can be cold against the skin tone but this blend of metallics is perfect for fair complexions.
Creating a Frame
Adding a highlight to the top of your cheekbones will add shaping definition. When light hits the higher points of your bone structure, the highlight will make your face look younger, fresher and enhance your cheekbones
To lengthen your forehead, sweep Aurora above your brows. This will give your forehead a nice polished and longer look.
Beaming brow
Having perfected your brows with i-groom, accentuate the eye area and emphasis the shape of your brow by using a small powder brush to apply highlighter above and under your brows.
Light up your eyes
One of the oldest tricks in the beauty book, dab some highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes to open up them up and give a more wide-awake and brightening look.
Thin your bridge
Apply a highlight lightly down the bridge of your nose to make your nose appear longer and thinner. Enhance this effect further by gently blending in an i-conceal a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone on the sides of your nose.
Luscious lips
As a finishing touch to your i-pout, apply a small amount of highlight to your cupid’s bow for a fuller looking pout. Go easy though as our highlighters are highly pigmented and too much will leave you with the look of a sweaty upper lip!
